Be a Sabanero (Costa Rica cowboy) on an amazing nature adventure. Horseback through a lagoon (weather permitting) on a picturesque farm, walk into the rain forest jungle for a swim in the natural pools of a breath-taking blue river and end, with a visit to an authentic traditional cheese farm.

Your Eco-adventure tour commences minutes away, at a picturesque, traditional Costa Rica farm. Saddle-up at the corral for horseback riding. Keep a close eye out for tropical birds like tanagers, jacanas, parrots, black guans, many kinds of colorful toucans. Typical trees here are eibos, kapok, laurels, nispero and roble sabana. On the horizon are views of 9 majestic volcano craters, including Santa Maria, Rincon de la Vieja and Von Seebach. Dismount for a short walk into the jungle and a refreshing swim in the amazing blue river, Rio Penjamo.
When weather permits horseback ride through a lagoon (with life-jacket). Our tour ends at an old-style authentic farm-house to learn how cheese is made and smoked the old-fashion way; plus, enjoy a well-earned home-made, traditional tortilla, made with fresh farmers cheese.
